If you live in LA, we’re sure you’ve heard of Zinqué cafe, the French coffee and wine bar with locations in Venice, West Hollywood, and recently Orange County. Well, the same founder of Zinqué, Emmanuel Dossetti, started this new and charming establishment, Massilia in Santa Monica.
‘Our Direction’ is a digital mood board we will be curating seasonally, to share with you what’s inspiring us aesthetically. For us, inspiration can come from almost anywhere – whether it be from fashion or art, a beautiful object, or a simply stated image or word. At the moment, warm, textural tones, soft neutral palettes and crisp, cool days are all on the horizon as Summer fades and we head into Fall. Oftentimes, we get approached by businesses that want to build a website or a new product but don’t have their foundation as a brand set. This includes brand messaging, values, and mission. In other words, their ‘rhyme and reason’ or their ‘why’ isn’t there.
There is no denying that we live in a noisy world. Everyone is offering something and everyone wants to be heard. Technology has advanced to the point where consumers are bombarded by content every single day. What’s more is that most people have smartphones, which means that they are able to get almost anything in just a few finger taps.
